• Offer professional guidance and support in the roles of educator, role model, mentor, and facilitator.

• Foster an educational environment that encourages innovation, responsiveness, and accountability.

• Regularly contribute to the enhancement or updating of course materials and syllabi in accordance with University protocols.

• Employ diverse teaching methodologies to ensure observable evidence of students meeting designated learning outcomes.

• Exhibit enthusiasm for teaching, the learning process, and individual student engagement.

• Assist in assessing, critiquing, and evaluating the overall curriculum.

• Lead revisions of programs and syllabi as needed while maintaining quality standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• 0–4 years of experience teaching in a university or college environment, or prior rank of assistant professor from a regionally accredited institution.

• Preferred teaching experience in Physician Assistant courses.

• Strongly preferred initiation of research interests centered on evidence-based clinical research.

• Desirable experience with online learning management systems.

• Documented 3 years of experience as a practicing clinician.

• Proven background in educational methodology relevant to teaching assignments, including education theory and practice, current concepts related to subjects taught, current clinical practice experience, or distance education techniques and delivery.

• A terminal academic degree is required (Master’s degree).

• Must be an NCCPA-certified Physician Assistant or a board-certified (or eligible) allopathic or osteopathic physician.

• Possession of a PA license (or eligibility), or MD/DO license or eligibility for licensure.
