Adjunct Assistant Professor, Nursing FNP/AGNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide mentorship, serve as a role model, and offer guidance and academic support to nursing students.

• Exhibit a passion for teaching and the educational process.

• Utilize skills and experience effectively in the designated teaching schedule.

• Engage in assessment activities related to courses, curricula, and programs.

• Aid in the enhancement of class materials and syllabi.

• Implement diverse teaching methodologies to promote student learning outcomes.

• Maintain involvement in scholarly activities.

• Contribute to professional development and university service.

• Foster student success as future healthcare professionals.

• Utilize simulation labs, innovation labs, and various university technologies.

• When teaching in clinical settings, take responsibility for students in clinical facilities.

• Clarify clinical expectations and placements with both students and facility staff.

• Guide students to resources for clinical preparation.

• Evaluate student knowledge and skills to ensure patient safety and quality care.

• Conduct pre- and post-conferences to connect theoretical content with clinical objectives.

• Provide timely and regular feedback on clinical performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least five years of prior experience as a registered nurse delivering direct patient care.

• A minimum of three years’ experience in the relevant teaching field.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Experience with online learning management systems.

• Adherence to state, federal, and local laws and regulations, including requirements from the state Board of Nursing.

• Education and experience must comply with state regulations and state authorization agencies.

• A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is required.

• A Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) or PhD is mandatory.

• Professional nursing licensure is required.
