
Addiction Counselor – Telehealth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Perform intake assessments to assess Member readiness and identify the appropriate level of care.
• Lead group and individual counseling sessions utilizing Affect’s evidence-based curriculum.
• Offer crisis support and coordinate suitable referrals when necessary.
• Keep timely and accurate records in our electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Work together with clinical supervisors on personalized treatment and discharge planning.
• Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and all applicable state laws.
• Active and verifiable counseling licenses in Virginia, such as LMFT, LPC, LCSW, LSATP, or LPC Resident, along with your state of residence if not Virginia.
• Skilled in using Microsoft Office or Google Suite, EMR systems, and telehealth platforms.
• Committed to assisting individuals in recovery and fostering therapeutic relationships.
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, mission-driven startup environment.
• Possess a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace along with a reliable internet connection.
