Addiction Counselor – Telehealth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.

📋 Description

• Perform intake assessments to assess Member readiness and identify the suitable level of care.

• Lead group and individual counseling sessions utilizing Affect’s evidence-based curriculum.

• Offer crisis support and facilitate appropriate referrals as necessary.

• Ensure timely and accurate documentation within our electronic medical record (EMR) system.

• Work collaboratively with clinical supervisors on personalized treatment and discharge planning.

• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and all pertinent state laws.

• Candidates must hold a license in their respective state, and all credentials must be validated through the State Board’s website during the application process.

• Active and verifiable counseling licenses such as LIMHP, LMHP, LADC, along with your state of residence. All credentials must be validated through the State Board’s website during the application process.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Suite, EMR systems, and telehealth platforms.

• Committed to supporting individuals in recovery and fostering therapeutic relationships.

• Comfortable working independently as well as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced, mission-driven startup environment.

• Must have a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace and reliable internet access.
