This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Analyze and project financial, economic, and various data to inform strategic and operational choices.
• Establish performance metrics and conduct data analysis to enhance business intelligence capabilities.
• Assess industry, economic, financial, and market trends to predict short-, medium-, and long-term financial and competitive positioning.
• Assist in the design, execution, and oversight of intricate vended value-based care initiatives.
• Concentrate on contracting, implementation, data analysis, and actuarial modeling regarding value-based care performance expectations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of value-based care initiatives with organizational objectives.
• Create and implement processes and controls to guarantee data integrity throughout the data flow.
• Comprehend business requirements and challenges, troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analyses, and devise cost-effective solutions for data discrepancies.
• Provide guidance to leaders on functional strategies, frequently focusing on segment-specific matters of importance.
• Make determinations on complex issues related to job responsibilities and associated tasks.
• Analyze varying factors to identify the optimal course of action.
• Report directly to the Director of Actuarial Analytics/Forecasting.
• Operate independently without direct reports.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• FSA or ASA along with a relevant advanced degree, recent pertinent work experience, and/or other applicable professional qualifications.
• MAAA certification.
• Proficient in articulating ideas clearly in both written and verbal formats.
• Experience across more than two functions, including modeling, pricing, rate filing, reporting and analysis, reserving, or trending.
• Familiarity with complex value-based arrangements (preferred).
• Experience in opportunity analysis (preferred).
• Background in modeling forecasting scenarios (preferred).
• Strong collaborative experience (preferred).
• Ability to convey highly technical concepts to non-technical audiences (preferred).
• Capacity to meet work-from-home criteria, including a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps.
• Capability to work from a dedicated space without ongoing interruptions to safeguard member PHI/HIPAA information.
• Occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings may be necessary.
