Actuary

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver expertise and consulting services on the design, management, administration, and communication of retirement plans for private, public, and church plan clients.

• Supervise and evaluate ongoing projects, including funding valuations, government filings, and benefit calculations.

• Manage and assess non-recurring projects, such as plan design, assumption studies, plan de-risking, and plan termination.

• Act as the main client contact and relationship manager.

• Maintain and expand client relationships.

• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through exceptional customer service, professional networking, and engagement in related organizations.

• Facilitate the growth and development of Actuarial Analysts.

• Function as a technical expert and advocate for sound actuarial practices.

• Provide direction and training, which includes assigning, guiding, and assessing work.

• Foster a collaborative team environment that values knowledge sharing and idea exchange.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Economics, or a related discipline.

• Over 10 years of experience in pension-related consulting.

• ASA/EA designation is required.

• FSA designation is preferred.

• Demonstrated client management abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience with ProVal is preferred.

• Excellent analytical skills.

• Strong presentation abilities.
