This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain forecasting models for Part D pharmacy.

• Assist Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug Plan (PDP) sectors through financial planning, risk evaluation, and thorough trend analysis.

• Manage financial complexities and risks associated with the changing Part D benefits and the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) program modifications.

• Influence the financial strategy for Part D.

• Deliver actionable insights to senior management.

• Improve organizational comprehension and financial literacy concerning the Part D program.

• Establish and execute processes and controls for data management while ensuring data integrity.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business requirements.

• Resolve issues, conduct root cause analysis, and rectify data discrepancies efficiently.

• Counsel executives on key functional strategies, often tailored to a specific segment.

• Evaluate variable factors and decide on appropriate actions with little oversight.

• Occasionally travel to Humana offices for training sessions or meetings.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• FSA or ASA along with a relevant advanced degree, recent pertinent work experience, and/or other applicable professional qualifications.

• MAAA.

• Proven ability to communicate ideas effectively in both written and verbal forms.

• Experience across multiple functions, including modeling, pricing, reporting & analysis, reserving, or trending.

• Preferred actuarial experience in the healthcare sector.

• Familiarity with SAS, SQL, Snowflake, or other relevant data analytics, database, or reporting tools is preferred.

• Background in analyzing claims trends, forecasting, business intelligence, or financial analysis within a healthcare or managed care context is preferred.

• Experience in documenting actuarial analyses and communications in compliance with relevant actuarial standards, including ASOP 41, Actuarial Communications, preferred.

• Minimum internet download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps for self-provided internet service.

• A dedicated workspace free from ongoing interruptions to safeguard member PHI/HIPAA information.
