Actuarial Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute actuarial responsibilities that involve mathematical and/or advanced clerical functions

• Gather and classify data

• Document and validate the variables utilized in calculations for loss and expense reserves, rate submissions, statistical schedules, financial reports, premiums, benefits, and pricing and rating structures

• Undertake additional tasks and projects as directed

• Collaborate closely with the manager and be a vital member of the designated team

⛳️ Requirements

• Undergraduate or graduate students expecting to graduate in December 2027 or later

• Degree in areas such as Data Analytics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Risk Management, or Computer Science

• Minimum GPA of 3.2

• Technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Visual Basic, Microsoft Access and SQL, or Python is advantageous

• Familiarity with finance, the insurance sector, investments, or actuarial disciplines

• Understanding of insurance products and their operations

• Detail-oriented with robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities
