This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +22 more states.
• Conduct moderately complex actuarial and statistical analyses.
• Assist in financial forecasting and support decision-making processes.
• Execute health-related calculations, perform financial modeling, and conduct risk assessments.
• Manage assigned tasks independently, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines.
• Analyze data and contribute to the development of actuarial methodologies.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Provide support for regulatory compliance initiatives.
• Assume responsibility for projects and deliverables.
• Guarantee the accuracy and integrity of actuarial outputs.
• Cultivate technical expertise and enhance business acumen.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Actuarial Services, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
• Completion of actuarial exams: Probability Exam, Financial Mathematics Exam, Fundamentals of Actuarial Mathematics Exam, Statistics of Risk Modeling Exam.
• Associated Validation by Educational Experience credits from the Society of Actuaries.
• Proficiency in Excel and statistical software such as SAS, R, or Python.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational database management.
• Strong mathematical foundation.
• Experience in risk modeling, actuarial or mathematical analysis, and the use of automated or statistical analysis tools.
• Knowledge of advanced analytic and business intelligence tools.
