Actuarial Support Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and oversee a team of accredited specialists, including actuarial and other professionals.

• Provide expert advice on combo plan design, compliance, and administration.

• Address customer inquiries and resolve plan-specific issues with accuracy and clarity.

• Collaborate with software developers to suggest and enhance features that improve plan administration tools.

• Engage in testing and validating new software functionalities, ensuring actuarial precision and usability.

• Contribute to the development of training materials and client education initiatives pertaining to retirement plan features.

• Assist in interpreting regulatory changes and translating them into implementable system updates.

• Provide insights during product planning meetings to align actuarial requirements with technical capabilities.


⛳️ Requirements

• EA designation is required, with current enrollment status.

• At least 5 years of experience in retirement plan administration, specifically focusing on combo plans including DC administration.

• Strong knowledge of ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations relevant to small retirement plans.

• Demonstrated experience in leading, managing, or mentoring professional support or technical teams in a client service context.

• Proven capability to explain complex actuarial concepts to non-actuarial audiences.

• Experience with retirement plan software platforms and involvement in feature development.

• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of data analysis tools.

• Familiarity with our software is highly advantageous.

• Prior experience in a client-facing support role.

• Exposure to software testing or QA processes.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
