This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the weekly and monthly setting of new money and renewal rates for MYGA and FIA products.

• Evaluate product profitability, economics, and market competitiveness to guide rate decisions.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure pricing actions align with broader business and distribution strategies.

• Maintain and improve pricing assumptions, methodologies, and the underlying analytics.

• Create and enhance models that support profitability analysis and the development of new products.

• Establish and manage a centralized database for rate-setting and a corporate pricing model.

• Assist in the development and implementation of new products across annuity offerings.

• Provide analytical insights to aid corporate strategy, financial planning, and risk management.

• Address recurring and ad hoc analytical requests from actuarial, finance, and leadership teams.

• Convert complex analyses into straightforward insights to facilitate decision-making.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Quantitative Finance, or a related discipline.

• FSA or near-FSA designation.

• Over 5 years of actuarial experience, focusing on annuity pricing and/or market risk management.

• In-depth knowledge of MYGA and FIA products (including GLWB), along with associated profitability and risk dynamics.

• Familiarity with accounting frameworks and investment strategies that influence annuity pricing.

• Proficient in Excel; experience with VBA, Python, SQL, or MG-ALFA is preferred.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities with the ability to manage ambiguity and conflicting priorities.

• Capability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
