Actuarial Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Gain exposure to one or more of the following Actuarial teams: Pricing, Pricing Design, or Reserving.

• Develop and analyze data to assist others in formulating rates, conducting competitive analysis, and establishing loss reserves.

• Compile data, execute statistical analyses, and summarize findings.

• Engage in a capstone project throughout the summer, collaborating with a small team and presenting outcomes to senior management at the conclusion of the summer.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Actuarial Science, Risk Management and Insurance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, MIS, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related quantitative field.

• Rising juniors and seniors, preferably graduating on or before Summer 2028.

• A desire to start a career in the insurance sector and/or actuarial analysis.

• One or more actuarial examinations successfully completed.

• Proficient in and/or familiar with Excel, SAS, and/or Python/R.

• Self-driven and results-focused.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Analytically oriented with a keen attention to detail.

• Must possess authorization to work indefinitely in the US.
