This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Support seasoned Actuaries with daily actuarial tasks in the Life, Health, and Annuity sectors.
• Streamline and standardize valuation calculations.
• Utilize actuarial software applications.
• Ensure clear documentation and communication of technical work.
• Enhance actuarial projections for pricing and valuation purposes.
• Engage in networking, leadership discussions, career guidance, development opportunities, product and industry presentations, final presentations, and a volunteering event.
• Participate in an in-person event at a corporate office during one week of the internship.
• Commit to working 40 hours per week for a duration of 10–12 weeks over the summer.
• Progressing towards a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or a related field.
• Rising junior or senior status.
• Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2029.
• At least one passed Actuarial examination towards SOA designation.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week for 10–12 weeks during the summer.
• Preferred candidate location in the Central or Eastern US time zone, or willingness to work during Central or Eastern time zone business hours.
• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
• No work visa sponsorship available for this position or potential future full-time employment opportunities.
• Previous internship experience is preferred.
• Experience balancing education with a part-time job during the academic year is preferred.
• Involvement in university clubs is preferred.
• Two or more passed exams towards SOA designation is preferred.
