
Actuarial Consultant – Rate Indications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Take ownership of the complete rate filing process for 11 states.
• Prepare indications along with supporting exhibits.
• Provide prompt and thorough responses to objections from the Department of Insurance (DOI).
• Oversee filings across various lines of business.
• Act as the Actuarial subject matter expert.
• Utilize advanced actuarial methodologies.
• Promote continuous improvement by enhancing methodologies.
• Assist in budgeting and financial planning activities.
• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) sector.
• ACAS or FCAS designation is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in personal lines filing.
• Proven track record of managing multiple complex projects concurrently.
• Demonstrated ability to apply actuarial expertise to drive business decisions.
• Outstanding prioritization and organizational capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Comfortable with modifying and working with pre-existing SQL code.
