Actuarial Analyst III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Gather, assess, and interpret financial, claims, membership, and utilization data to support actuarial studies and business projects.

• Create and maintain regular actuarial reports, dashboards, and analyses.

• Assist in monitoring and reporting vital financial and operational metrics, including Incurred But Not Reported (IBNR) estimates.

• Conduct trend analyses to assess healthcare costs, utilization, and membership trends.

• Develop, maintain, and improve actuarial pricing models.

• Work collaboratively with Finance, Underwriting, Product Development, Operations, and other business teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, or a related field is preferred.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in actuarial work and/or statistics, or achievement of Associate level in the Society of Actuaries (ASA).

• ASA candidate status is advantageous.

• Expert proficiency in Excel is required.

• Working knowledge of Access or other database applications is preferred.

• Experience with SAS or another programming language is desirable.

• Knowledge of data analysis and actuarial principles is essential.
