Actuary, Network Management Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage all analytics related to post-acute network operations within a designated CenterWell business segment.

• Develop an alternative payment framework for post-acute care services.

• Collaborate with the network strategy team.

• Establish processes and controls to maintain data integrity regarding data flow.

• Work with partners to identify their needs and concerns.

• Diagnose issues and perform root cause analysis.

• Create cost-effective solutions for data inconsistencies.

• Provide strategic advice to executives on significant matters, often specific to different segments.

• Make informed decisions regarding complex issues tied to job responsibilities and tasks.

• Evaluate variable factors and determine the most effective course of action.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.

• Proficiency in coding with SAS, SQL, and Databricks.

• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) or Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation, along with relevant recent experience, or other applicable professional certifications.

• Membership in the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).

• Experience across multiple functions, such as modeling, pricing, rate filing, reporting and analysis, reserving, or trending.

• Capability to work from a dedicated workspace free from interruptions to safeguard member PHI/HIPAA information.

• Self-supplied internet service with a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps.

• Preferred: a mindset geared towards innovation.

• Preferred: experience with Medicare.

• Preferred: background in analyzing post-acute care services.

• Preferred: experience in managing direct reports.

• Preferred: expertise in data visualization using Power BI.
