This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist Analysts and Consultants in the creation, verification, and application of actuarial models.
• Conduct database analyses.
• Develop spreadsheets.
• Compose written correspondence.
• Aid in the timely completion of deliverables.
• Contribute to actuarial analysis initiatives within the Health sector.
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Anticipated graduation date after May 2027.
• Minimum GPA of 3.5.
• Successfully passed one or more exams from the Society of Actuaries.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Programming skills are advantageous: SAS, SQL, VBA, Python, or R.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• A positive attitude and a robust work ethic are essential.
• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship from Milliman.
• Candidates are required to be located within the United States.
• Preference will be given to candidates living in the EST time zone.
