P&C Actuary Manager – Reserving

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee intricate reserving analyses.

• Create, implement, and assess actuarial reserving methodologies specific to Auto Injury coverages.

• Enhance reserve decision support by collaborating with senior reserving executives and business partners.

• Guarantee data integrity and analytical precision in actuarial assessments.

• Convert technical findings into clear insights for leadership teams.

• Direct efforts across various projects and priorities.

• Mentor analysts and enhance team capabilities.

• Propel the reserving discipline through technical expertise and thought leadership.

• Incorporate business and regulatory considerations in reserving judgments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS).

• A minimum of seven years of actuarial experience.

• Proven experience in leading complex actuarial analyses and utilizing actuarial judgment to inform business decisions.

• Demonstrated ability to work alongside leaders and cross-functional business partners.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Preferred - Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS).

• Experience in property and casualty reserving.

• Background in managing and developing actuarial talent.
