ACH Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist with the daily processing, reconciliation, returns, exceptions, and notifications for ACH transactions.

• Keep an eye on ACH activities, transaction volumes, limits, and return rates; escalate any issues as necessary.

• Act as a subject matter expert on ACH for employees, customers, and partners.

• Aid in the onboarding of new ACH customers and partners, as well as manage ACH limit requests.

• Investigate and resolve disputes, exceptions, returns, and operational problems related to ACH.

• Support updates, training, and communication regarding NACHA rules.

• Compile ACH reports for management, the Board of Directors, NACHA, and other relevant stakeholders.

• Assist with annual reviews of ACH originators and risk assessments.

• Coordinate requests for ACH audits and examinations while maintaining necessary documentation.

• Collaborate with Fiserv, Direct Access participants, and other partners to troubleshoot ACH issues.

• Update and maintain ACH procedures and process documentation.

• Spot opportunities to enhance ACH reporting, monitoring, processes, and controls.

• Identify areas for automating manual ACH processes and reporting.

• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

• This position does not include managerial responsibilities.


⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required.

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in banking or financial services is preferred.

• Accreditation as an ACH Professional (AAP) is mandatory.

• A minimum of five years’ experience with NACHA rules and regulations, ideally in Digital Payments.

• Proficient computer skills, particularly in MS Excel and Word.

• Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

• Team-oriented and collaborative.

• Detail-oriented with a strong level of accuracy.

• Effective interpersonal abilities.

• Excellent customer service skills.

• A strong sense of integrity and personal ethics.

• Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Polished verbal and written communication skills.

• Time management skills are essential.

• Strong organizational and follow-up capabilities.

• Ability to provide accurate and precise reporting.

• Willingness to travel to client offices, prospects, branches, and industry events.
