📋 Description

• Engage in daily outreach to both business and individual clients regarding overdue payments and aged receivables.

• Create and distribute professional collection correspondence while addressing client inquiries and requests.

• Collaborate directly with attorneys to facilitate collection efforts and address client account concerns.

• Keep precise records of collection activities, payment agreements, and communications with clients.

• Track assigned aged receivables and provide management with status updates.

• Investigate and assist in resolving unapplied funds, payment discrepancies, and various account issues.

• Work in partnership with accounting colleagues and other departments to ensure timely payments and accurate record-keeping.

• Support additional accounting tasks and related responsibilities as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of two years of experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist within a law firm is required.

• Proficiency with Aderant and/or Elite 3E is necessary.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are required.

• Familiarity with Word and Outlook is essential.

• Experience with StarCollect and ARCs is highly preferred.

• Strong organizational abilities and capacity to prioritize a large volume of receivable accounts.

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are a must.

• Keen attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial records.

• A proactive mindset, reliable follow-through, and capability to work independently in a remote setting.

• Ability to learn and navigate various accounting and billing platforms.

• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
