This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Evaluate invoices to ensure proper documentation is provided.
• Accurately process a high volume of vendor invoices in a timely manner for approval routing.
• Assign purchases to designated customers, locations, and departments.
• Prepare invoices for weekly payments and manage the distribution of checks or electronic payments.
• Ensure that no vendor accounts fall past due, including investigating vendor-related issues.
• Address inquiries from both internal and external sources regarding invoice and payment statuses.
• Contribute to projects and continuous improvement efforts aimed at enhancing accounts payable processes and service delivery.
• Annually prepare and submit forms 1096 and 1099.
• Oversee, track, and document all corporate credit card transactions.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
• Support ad hoc projects and reporting requirements.
• Provide assistance during the company’s annual audit.
• Perform additional duties and special assignments as necessary to meet business needs.
• An associate’s degree coupled with a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred experience with invoice automation or invoice capture systems.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail, complemented by a customer service-oriented approach.
• Results-oriented with strong persistence and follow-through; shows initiative, accountability, and urgency.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment while adhering to deadlines.
• Critical thinker possessing strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team, while effectively prioritizing tasks.
