This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Enter supplier invoices into Xero with precision, ensuring that all invoice details, coding, supporting documents, and approval requirements are thoroughly complete.
• Examine supplier invoices for correctness, compliance, and proper authorization before proceeding with processing.
• Prepare bank files and assist with weekly and monthly supplier payment runs.
• Conduct bank reconciliations to uphold precise and current financial records.
• Execute GST compliance checks and facilitate adherence to Australian regulatory standards.
• Aid in month-end tasks, reporting, reconciliations, and accounts payable closing activities.
• Keep organized electronic filing and financial documentation using Microsoft 365 and SharePoint.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve any discrepancies related to invoices, payments, approvals, or accounts.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives across accounts payable, reconciliation, documentation, and finance processes.
• Operate independently in a remote setting while ensuring accuracy, meeting deadlines, and adhering to established finance procedures.
• Perform other duties at the position level as required.
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 3+ years of experience in an Accounts Payable, Finance Administration, Accounts Administration, or a similar finance support role.
• Proven knowledge of Australian GST regulations, supplier invoice requirements, and finance compliance processes.
• Essential experience using Xero.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience utilizing Microsoft 365 and SharePoint for document management.
• Exceptional attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy, process integrity, and well-organized financial records.
• Strong reconciliation abilities, with a knack for identifying discrepancies and resolving issues.
• Capability to handle competing priorities, recurring deadlines, payment runs, and month-end obligations in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for supplier follow-ups and coordination with internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work remotely, independently, and with little supervision.
• Process-oriented, dependable, and proactive, with a keen interest in enhancing finance workflows.
