Accounts Payable Manager – EMEA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Mentor, train, and assess Accounts Payable (AP) personnel. Supervise task distribution and track departmental performance indicators (KPIs).

• Manage the processing of invoices, expense reports, and payment cycles to ensure timely disbursements and prevent late fees.

• Develop and sustain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate payment terms, and address escalated discrepancies or conflicts.

• Guarantee precise vendor statement reconciliations, balance sheet accounts, and activities related to month-end closings.

• Ensure adherence to company policies, tax obligations, and regulatory standards. Assist with audits by supplying requested documentation.

• Streamline and automate workflows utilizing contemporary ERP tools such as Netsuite, Tipalti, and Emburse.

• You possess specialized expertise and a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in an Accounting or Accounts Payable setting.

• You have a robust understanding of business processes and their interconnections throughout the organization, in addition to strong analytical and logical reasoning abilities.

• You adapt well to change, take responsibility for your work, and seek improved methods of operation.

• You communicate transparently, foster collaboration, and believe that the best ideas emerge through teamwork.

• Experience in an international organization or a startup/scale-up environment is highly regarded.
