Accounts Payable Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete accounts payable cycle, which encompasses invoice processing, approvals, vendor management, payment processing, and reconciliations.

• Review and authorize weekly ACH, wire, and check payment runs.

• Ensure adherence to tax regulations, including maintenance of W-9 forms and 1099 filings.

• Analyze, enhance, and document accounts payable processes.

• Lead the development and application of data analytics to track department KPIs and manage cash flow effectively.

• Provide financial reporting and forecasting for weekly cash requirements.

• Supervise, mentor, and develop members of the accounts payable team.

• Collaborate with various teams to promote productivity, accountability, innovation, execution, and results.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• At least 8 years of progressive experience in accounts payable.

• Demonstrated experience managing a full-cycle accounts payable function.

• Previous experience supervising and leading accounts payable staff.

• Experience in a rapidly growing, multi-entity corporate setting.

• Intermediate proficiency in Excel.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to develop processes and work autonomously.

• Highly organized, precise, and detail-oriented.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

• For roles requiring a state insurance license, candidates must fulfill relevant state licensing criteria and must not be disqualified, barred, or prohibited from conducting insurance business under Title 18 U.S. Code §§1033 and 1034.
