This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia, +1 more country.
• Process invoices for payment, ensuring verification of required information and account codes, while accurately entering invoice data into the system.
• Schedule and execute payments punctually, confirming that all payments are authorized appropriately.
• Address vendor inquiries, investigate payment-related issues, and resolve invoice discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain precise vendor records, ensuring all necessary documentation is collected and kept up to date.
• Assist with the accounts payable processes at month-end, quarter-end, and year-end to guarantee accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Review vendor statements and outstanding invoices, identify overdue items, and follow up with vendors as needed.
• Keep accurate accounting and financial records, preparing regular or ad hoc reports as necessary.
• Collaborate with the Finance team, contribute to process enhancements, and support the training of team members when required.
• Undertake additional finance and administrative tasks related to accounts payable as assigned.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable, accounting, or a related administrative finance position.
• Familiarity with accounts payable processes and financial record-keeping methodologies.
• Experience in reviewing financial documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Exceptional attention to detail and numerical precision.
• Solid understanding of standard business arithmetic, including percentages and decimals.
• Proficient English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities with a proven capacity to meet deadlines.
• Capability to independently research and resolve discrepancies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other accounting or financial software.
• Ability to work autonomously while also effectively contributing to a team environment.
• High level of responsibility, discretion, and attention to confidential financial matters.
• Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM CST.
