This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Serve as a product and accounting specialist for Pennylane’s clientele.
• Act as the intermediary between client business owners, internal accountants, and accounting firms.
• Comprehend and investigate issues faced by users on a daily basis.
• Provide solutions or answers and escalate issues to technical teams when needed.
• Assist in-house and accounting-firm accountants in importing their data into Pennylane to streamline migration.
• Complete product and company training through the Pennylane Academy.
• Receive, assess, and resolve accounting-related inquiries.
• Monitor tickets until they are fully resolved.
• Create and update customer-facing support materials.
• Share accounting knowledge and practical experience with team members.
• Deliver structured customer feedback to the Product teams.
• Identify improvement opportunities and lead enhancement initiatives.
• An accounting qualification (BTS CGO, DCG, BTS Assistant Manager for SMEs, Master’s degree in Accounting, Control and Audit, or Bachelor’s degree in Administrative and Accounting Management).
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting firm, ideally encompassing at least three tax seasons.
• Direct experience collaborating with business owners is advantageous.
• A keen interest in innovative work tools and emerging technologies.
• Self-driven, with the capability to independently resolve issues and find solutions.
• Familiarity with Pennylane is a plus.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Excellent written communication and instructional abilities.
• Capacity to comprehend and address customer needs, deliver outstanding service, and build strong relationships.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
• Adaptability to rapid product changes.
• Enthusiasm for learning and staying updated with product advancements.
• Applicants must reside in Europe; Pennylane does not offer visa sponsorship and does not employ individuals outside Europe.
