This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Serve as a subject-matter expert in product and accounting for customers and accountants utilizing Pennylane.
• Act as a bridge between business owners, internal accountants, and accounting firms.
• Grasp the challenges users face on a daily basis.
• Investigate inquiries and provide answers or solutions.
• Escalate issues to technical teams when necessary.
• Assist corporate and public-practice accountants in importing their data into Pennylane to streamline migration.
• Complete product and company training through the Pennylane Academy within the first three months.
• Receive and assess accounting-related requests.
• Respond promptly and effectively to requests.
• Track requests until the tickets are fully resolved.
• Handle increasingly complex customer inquiries.
• Create and update customer support resources.
• Share accounting expertise and hands-on experience with team members.
• Provide product teams with insightful feedback on customer usage.
• Identify opportunities for enhancements to boost team efficiency.
• Lead initiatives that promote professional development and enhance the support function.
• Opportunities to advance toward more specialized queries, account management, or customer implementation.
• Accounting qualification (BTS CGO, DCG, BTS Assistant de gestion PME-PMI, Master CCA, or Bachelor’s degree in Administrative and Accounting Management).
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an accounting firm, preferably including at least three tax seasons.
• Direct experience working with business owners is advantageous.
• Interest in innovative workplace tools and emerging technologies.
• Self-motivated with the ability to independently solve problems and devise solutions.
• Familiarity with Pennylane is a plus.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Strong written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain concepts.
• Capacity to understand and respond to customer needs, deliver exceptional service, and maintain robust relationships.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to rapid product changes.
• Eagerness to learn and stay informed about product advancements.
• Visa sponsorship is not available, and we cannot hire candidates outside of Europe.
• Experience or knowledge of accounting practices.
• Solid experience as an accountant in a public accounting firm.
• Comfortable utilizing ticketing tools (Intercom, Zendesk) and documentation tools (Notion).
