Accounting & Operations Support Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Serve as a subject matter and platform authority for clients utilizing Pennylane as their primary accounting and financial management software.

• Act as a bridge between business owners, in-house accountants, and accounting firms.

• Daily comprehension and investigation of user issues.

• Provide solutions or answers and escalate problems to technical teams when necessary.

• Assist in-house accountants and accounting firms with data migration into Pennylane.

• Engage in ongoing training via Pennylane Academy to remain current on product and company updates.

• Receive, evaluate, and address accounting-related inquiries.

• Monitor support tickets until they are fully resolved.

• Develop and refresh customer support documentation.

• Share accounting expertise and practical knowledge with team members.

• Relay structured customer feedback to product teams.

• Identify opportunities for enhancement and spearhead projects that enhance team efficiency.


⛳️ Requirements

• Accounting certification (BTS CGO, DCG, BTS Assistant de Gestion PME-PMI, Master’s degree in Accounting, Control and Audit, or Bachelor’s degree in Administrative and Accounting Management).

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting firm, ideally encompassing at least three tax seasons.

• Direct experience with business owners is advantageous.

• Enthusiasm for innovative tools and new technologies.

• Self-driven, capable of independently solving problems and finding solutions.

• Familiarity with Pennylane is a plus.

• Professional proficiency in English.

• Strong written communication abilities and the capacity to convey concepts clearly and professionally to users.

• Aptitude for understanding and addressing customer needs, delivering exceptional service, and fostering strong customer relationships.

• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

• Flexibility to adapt to rapid changes in product offerings.

• Willingness to learn and keep abreast of product advancements.

• Must reside in Europe; the company is unable to provide visa sponsorship or employ individuals outside of Europe.
