Accounting Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver hands-on accounting support as the organization experiences rapid growth.

• Take charge of accounting tasks autonomously in a dynamic, high-growth setting.

• Manage operational accounting functions including general ledger, journal entries, accruals, bank reconciliations, and account reconciliations.

• Swiftly evaluate priorities, assume responsibility, and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.

• Assist with the consulting engagement, with the potential for a temporary-to-permanent position.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of progressive, hands-on accounting experience.

• Robust operational accounting experience, encompassing general ledger, journal entries, accruals, bank reconciliations, and account reconciliations.

• In-depth understanding of U.S. GAAP.

• Capacity to independently oversee accounting activities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

• Excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor, and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.

• Ability to rapidly assess priorities, take ownership, and drive tasks to completion.

• CPA certification is preferred.

• Experience in insurance, FinTech, SaaS, or another high-growth technology sector is preferred.

• Familiarity with NetSuite is preferred.

• Experience with AI, automation, or technology-driven improvements in accounting processes is preferred.

• Prior consulting or interim accounting experience is preferred.
