Accounting Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee and nurture client relationships.

• Take charge of the creation, evaluation, and distribution of precise and timely monthly financials for 20–40 clients.

• Supervise and mentor the preparer team to ensure the production of dependable financials and sustain robust client margins.

• Engage with clients through Slack and email, addressing inquiries and gathering information for month-end closures.

• Organize and establish new accounting records for newly acquired clients.

• Enhance processes and systems for delivering accounting services to clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in accounting.

• Solid understanding of month-end closing procedures and financial reporting.

• Proven experience in reviewing the work of bookkeepers or junior accountants.

• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple clients at once.

• Effective communicator, comfortable interacting directly with founders.
