Accounting Clerk, Digital Back Office, Tax Clerk (E‑Commerce)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Manage bookkeeping for e-commerce clients independently, covering accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Guarantee the complete transfer of all necessary data from popular shop systems into the accounting software.

• Establish and review the most frequently used systems in the e-commerce sector.

• Communicate confidently and autonomously with clients and governmental bodies.

• Coordinate deadlines and meetings for the client portfolio.

• Manage administrative tasks for the client base.

• Generate reports and filings related to accounting activities.

• Assist in the preparation of monthly or quarterly closings as well as annual financial statements.

• Actively participate in the ongoing enhancement of internal processes.

• Completed vocational or commercial training (e.g., tax clerk, certified balance sheet accountant).

• Several years of experience in the accounting field.

• Ideally, familiarity with e-commerce.

• Proficient in utilizing accounting systems.

• Quick to understand digital processes.

• Capable of working independently and in an organized manner.

• Possess a hands-on approach.

• Willingness to operate fully in a digital (paperless) environment.
