Dutch Translator – eCommerce

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Translate written documents from English to Dutch while preserving the original meaning, format, and tone.

• Carefully read and comprehend the context of the text.

• Utilize specialized dictionaries and translation tools effectively.

• Review and proofread completed translations.

• Detect errors in grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

• Take a brief assessment following the submission of your application form.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a native Dutch speaker.

• Should be available for at least 3-5 hours each week.

• Demonstrated experience in a Translator, Interpreter, or comparable position.

• Strong proofreading abilities with a keen eye for grammar, spelling, and punctuation mistakes.

• Proficient with content editing tools.

• Experience with translation software is preferred.

• Strong time-management skills.

• Must be fluent in English in addition to the native language.

• Compensation will be hourly for the first 6 months.

• Time spent on research, brainstorming, and proofreading will be included in the pay.

• Aiming for a 10% salary increase during the first year of employment with us.
