This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.
• Define and implement the digital product vision, customer experience strategy, and long-term roadmap across Motion's digital ecosystem.
• Take ownership of portfolio prioritization and investment decisions encompassing commerce, self-service, content management, commercial platforms, mobile experiences, and innovative digital capabilities.
• Establish standards for product management, governance processes, roadmapping practices, and frameworks for performance measurement.
• Ensure alignment of digital investments with enterprise growth objectives and customer experience goals in collaboration with executive leadership.
• Direct product management teams responsible for commerce, account management, self-service, procurement integrations, content platforms, mobile experiences, and commercial applications.
• Assess emerging technologies, market trends, and competitive capabilities to pinpoint future growth opportunities.
• Manage the comprehensive customer experience strategy across all customer-facing digital interactions.
• Oversee UX/UI design, journey mapping, service design, design systems, accessibility standards, and experience governance.
• Lead customer research, usability testing, journey analytics, behavioral analysis, and market intelligence initiatives.
• Take charge of experimentation, A/B testing, personalization, and conversion optimization programs.
• Develop and sustain an eCommerce experience aimed at fostering growth within the industrial distribution market.
• Create and refine the enterprise design system, including reusable components, interaction patterns, and UX standards.
• Build and manage teams focused on Product Management, UX, Customer Insights, and Optimization.
• Collaborate with Technology, Operations, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership to ensure strategy alignment and execution.
• Develop test scenarios, conduct user acceptance testing, and confirm system readiness for production.
• Lead cross-functional prioritization and investment decision-making processes.
• Oversee budgets, resources, vendor relationships, and investment priorities.
• Promote innovation, accountability, customer-centricity, and ongoing improvement.
• Cultivate future leaders and enhance product management and customer experience capabilities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Typically requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and at least fifteen (15) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination.
• In-depth knowledge of digital product management, customer experience, UX/UI design, user-centered design, digital commerce, and experience optimization.
• Demonstrated success in leading extensive digital product portfolios and customer experience strategies with measurable results.
• Proven experience managing product roadmaps across commerce, self-service, procurement integrations, content platforms, mobile experiences, and commercial applications.
• Strong knowledge of customer research, usability testing, journey analytics, experimentation, personalization, and data-driven decision-making.
• Ability to convert customer needs, market opportunities, and business objectives into impactful product investments.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, portfolio management, prioritization, and investment planning skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders across Product, Technology, Operations, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.
• Proven leadership experience in building and developing high-performing product, UX, and insights teams within complex, matrixed organizations.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen, including the ability to evaluate investment opportunities and deliver measurable returns on investment.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and ability to influence executives.
• Capability to balance long-term strategic vision with immediate execution and operational excellence.
• Must be eligible to work in the US without Visa Sponsorship.
• No licenses or certifications required.
• Supervisory responsibility for 5–10 direct reports and 5–10 indirect reports.
