Accounting Clerk – Accounting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Thorough examination, documentation, and entry of ongoing business transactions in accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and fixed assets accounting.

• Ensure a solid foundation of financial data by maintaining and updating our accounting and ERP systems.

• Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements while conducting account reconciliations.

• Monitor and address outstanding items, discrepancies, and accounting inquiries.

• Manage administrative responsibilities within the finance department and guarantee organized, auditable documentation.

• Aid in fostering structure and transparency in a rapidly growing scale-up environment, while actively contributing to the enhancement of existing processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed commercial vocational training or a degree with a focus on business administration.

• Over five years of professional experience in accounting or financial accounting.

• Highly detail-oriented, organized, dependable, and solution-focused.

• Proficient in German at C1 level for effective communication with colleagues.

• Ideally, prior experience with ERP systems (e.g., Business Central).
