Accounting Analyst – Senior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Conduct analyses and execute account reconciliations in compliance with current regulations to assess outcomes.

• Carry out balance sheet conversions and eliminate intercompany transactions.

• Work collaboratively with the team to pinpoint and address accounting discrepancies.

• Actively engage in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data.

• Provide assistance to mid-level and junior analysts within the team.

• Liaise with other departments (such as FP&A, Controllership, and Operations) to synchronize information and consolidate financial analyses.

• Aid in the preparation of financial statements and in drafting explanatory notes.

• Support the development of management reports and financial analyses.

• Suggest and implement enhancements to shorten closing timelines and automate departmental processes.

• Assist with internal and external audits.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

• Experience with financial closing procedures in integrated systems (ERP/SAP).

• In-depth knowledge of CPCs and IFRS.

• Comprehensive generalist understanding of accounting.

• Experience in preparing consolidated financial statements.

• Strong critical thinking and analytical abilities to identify opportunities for process improvements and support their implementation.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Proficient in English.
