Accounting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Classification of accounting entries, reconciliation, and bookkeeping tasks

• Conducting bank reconciliations and analyzing financial transactions

• Importing, reviewing, and processing accounting data

• Merging information from the Tax and Payroll departments with the Accounting team

• Analyzing and finalizing trial balances

• Preparing and reviewing the Balance Sheet and Income Statement

• Monitoring and analyzing accounts within the balance sheet and income statement

• Identifying and rectifying discrepancies in accounting

• Organizing and tracking items needed for month-end closing

• Assisting in the preparation and submission of the department’s tax and regulatory requirements

• Aiding in the calculation and documentation of profit distributions

• Keeping accounting records organized and current

• Adhering to the monthly closing schedule and internal departmental protocols

• Identifying issues, seeking solutions, and managing responsibility for a client portfolio

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, either completed or in progress

• Understanding of accounting principles and closing processes

• Familiarity with accounting reconciliation and classification

• Strong analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail

• Organized and dependable in meeting deadlines

• Proficient in utilizing systems and spreadsheets

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset

• Proactive, eager to learn, and dedicated to professional development

• Active CRC registration

• Familiarity with Domínio accounting software (preferred)

• Experience with companies operating under Brazil’s Simples Nacional and Presumed Profit tax regimes (preferred)

• Experience with service-providing companies (preferred)

• Understanding of financial statements and profit distributions (preferred)
