Accounting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Educate client accounting personnel on the functionalities of KeyStone.

• Assist credit unions in reconciling clearing and suspense accounts.

• Create financial statements.

• Act as a remote resource and be available on-site as required during the conversion week.

• Collaborate with the client and mentor to comprehend existing functions and processes.

• Advise clients on adapting current processes to fit KeyStone.

• Prepare the client for the General Ledger (GL) conversion process.

• Support the client throughout the conversion process, offering training and assistance during and after the conversion.

• Work with clients on mapping tables to the new GL Chart of Accounts, GL Accrual types, A/P Vendors, Invoice Types, and Work Queues.

• Offer guidance on setting up batch jobs for all GL-related functions.

• Grasp and apply fundamental concepts of database setup that require GL information.

• Conduct training sessions via WebEx on KeyStone’s General Ledger product.

• Travel on-site for GL conversion assistance as necessary.

• Maintain effective communication with clients and team members throughout the conversion process.

• Identify potential issues and ensure they are resolved appropriately.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

• Experience in Credit Union or Banking is highly preferred.

• A college degree in accounting is preferred, or multi-craft skills obtained through extensive on-the-job training or apprenticeship programs, or in-depth industry-specific technical skills acquired through a combination of formal education and practical training.
