Accounting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Assist in the calculation of various taxes including Corporate Income Tax (IRPJ), Social Contribution on Net Profit (CSLL), PIS, COFINS, and Municipal Service Tax (ISS) within the Presumed Profit (Lucro Presumido) and Simples Nacional frameworks;

• Aid in the preparation of financial documents such as Balance Sheets, Income Statements (DRE), and other related statements;

• Undertake responsibilities associated with the monthly accounting close under the supervision of management and senior staff;

• Support the incorporation of companies, corporate modifications, and registrations with the Board of Trade (Junta Comercial);

• Assist with issues pertaining to both domestic and international corporate structures;

• Facilitate the integration of accounting data between Brazilian and foreign entities;

• Help manage inquiries related to personal income tax (IRPF) and supplementary filings;

• Engage in professional communication in English with international clients and partners;

• Contribute to the accounting, tax, and corporate compliance of business operations;

• Aid in organizing documents, managing internal controls, and standardizing processes;

• Identify potential enhancements in operational routines and provide recommendations to the team;

• Assist in analyses and information collection to support the department's strategic decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting with an active CRC (Regional Accounting Council) registration;

• 1 to 2 years of experience in accounting practices;

• Intermediate understanding of financial statements;

• Familiarity with tax calculations under the Presumed Profit (Lucro Presumido) and Simples Nacional regimes;

• Experience or exposure to corporate procedures and business registrations;

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, with strong execution capabilities;

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team;

• Eagerness to learn and enhance technical accounting skills.
