Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Assist with incentive calculations, account reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis.

• Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with GAAP and organizational standards.

• Generate reports on financial performance for both internal and external stakeholders.

• Conduct balance sheet and profit & loss reconciliations.

• Develop and implement automated tools for updating, analyzing, and reporting consolidated financial results.

• Examine extensive datasets to uncover variances, trends, and opportunities for enhanced accuracy.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent professional experience is mandatory.

• Equivalent professional experience: At least 4 years in a related field.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is essential.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.

• Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities are necessary.

• Ability to solve problems and manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines.

• Strong analytical capabilities are expected.

• A comprehensive understanding of financial and accounting principles is essential.

• Preference will be given to candidates located within a 50-mile radius of Chattanooga.
