This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.
• Generate and register customer invoices in accordance with contractual agreements.
• Track incoming payments and reconcile customer accounts.
• Oversee the accounts receivable aging report and assist in collection efforts.
• Follow up with customers regarding unpaid invoices and payment discrepancies.
• Process credit notes and address billing issues in coordination with Sales and Delivery teams.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing tasks related to revenue accounting.
• Maintain precise accounting records and documentation.
• Work collaboratively with the Finance team to enhance administrative processes and ensure adherence to internal procedures.
• Aid in managing the complete customer invoicing process.
• Collaborate with Sales and Project Management to ensure accurate invoice issuance, payment tracking, and precise accounting records.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles applicable to customer invoicing.
• Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
• Effective communication skills and a proactive approach.
• Professional proficiency in both Italian and English.
• Experience in IT or consulting firms (preferred).
• Familiarity with electronic invoicing (preferred).
• Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems (preferred).
