This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.
• You will take charge of the retention, renewals, and expansion objectives for Halter’s current revenue within the region.
• Ensure that farmers are maximizing the benefits of Halter to meet their goals and comprehend the impact it has on their agricultural operations.
• Responsible for renewing customer agreements and enhancing the revenue from existing Halter customers by delivering value in every interaction to promote on-farm objectives and performance.
• Assist in the onboarding, training, and implementation of the Halter system on customer farms, guaranteeing that all pertinent farm owners, managers, and workers can effectively utilize the system.
• Proactively develop authentic and trustworthy relationships with farmers, their teams, and families, nurturing strong connections and insights.
• Strategically collaborate with customers to define clear business objectives, timelines, priorities, and success metrics.
• Provide timely and effective communication and support to farmers and team members, addressing technical or operational issues with proficiency and efficiency.
• Represent the Halter brand with pride, lead local discussion groups, and actively build robust networks within the community to enhance brand visibility and connections.
• Act as the voice of the customer, bridging the gap with our product teams to convey vital context regarding the realities faced by our farmers and their livestock.
• Collaborate closely with our product teams to offer technical and practical insights from a farmer’s viewpoint on matters related to reproduction, pasture, and agronomy.
• Foster a positive team atmosphere, supporting colleagues in their success and exemplifying Halter’s Operating Principles.
• 3-5 years of experience in relationship management or account management roles.
• Experience in dairy farming or the agriculture sector, coupled with a strong passion for assisting farmers in achieving success.
• Robust business acumen.
• A positive demeanor and collaborative team player capable of overcoming challenges.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment with a high level of autonomy.
