This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Develop new domestic business focused on the Western US region.
• Manage and expand global accounts with North American OEMs and Brand Owners engaged in worldwide manufacturing.
• Act as the main North American commercial liaison, fostering robust relationships with customer headquarters, regional procurement, and engineering teams.
• Collaborate with R&D, application development, and supply chain teams to provide innovative polymer solutions that align with technical, sustainability, and cost objectives.
• Formulate and implement strategic account plans, encompassing sales growth initiatives, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.
• Identify, Communicate, Develop, and Expand global OEM business volumes.
• Coordinate global initiatives between North American and overseas sales and technology teams to ensure effective business development, launches, and consistent service delivery.
• Supply market intelligence regarding material trends, competitor activities, and new product opportunities to guide strategy.
• Provide precise sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and executive-level account reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field (Chemical Engineering is highly preferred).
• 5–7 years of experience in account management or sales within the plastics, polymers, or related materials sectors for consumer products.
• Proven track record in managing multinational OEM accounts and driving business growth across various global regions.
• Strong technical and commercial insight, with the capability to transform materials science into customer solutions.
• Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and communication abilities.
• Cross-cultural business experience with familiarity in both North American and Asian markets.
• Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) is a significant advantage.
• Willingness and capability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time.
