This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Meet and surpass designated sales targets across a range of sponsor accounts while ensuring smooth end-to-end event delivery.
• Provide precise sales forecasting and keep daily CRM updates current.
• Cultivate strong relationships with sponsors to gain insights into their business objectives and sponsorship requirements.
• Assist sponsors in their go-to-market strategies through event and experiential opportunities.
• Handle communications with clients and sponsors, distributing sales materials, prospectus details, opportunities, and benefits.
• Collaborate closely with team members to develop additional tailored and commercially beneficial sponsorship experiences.
• Establish yourself as a reliable 'voice of the sponsor,' guiding event and client teams to adopt a sponsor-centric approach that enhances attendee experiences.
• Lead and assist project teams by offering day-to-day guidance when necessary.
• Extensive experience in Sponsorship Sales as an Account Manager within a similarly sized events agency.
• Demonstrated ability in managing forecasting, sales tracking, and opportunity pipelines.
• Strong background in creating sponsorship packages and commercial opportunities.
• Proven capability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and budgets concurrently.
• Robust financial and business acumen with experience in contract management.
• Proficient in Excel with strong overall ICT skills.
• Experience in generating, qualifying, and closing sales opportunities.
• Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills with clients, suppliers, and colleagues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
• Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong customer service orientation and a client-focused mindset.
• A proactive, motivated, and team-oriented approach with a positive attitude.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure and coordinate across multiple time zones.
