This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Independently formulate, prepare, and execute indication-specific scientific and medical discussions and visits with office-based specialist physicians within your designated territory (Berlin-East, Fläming, Halle (Saale), Magdeburg, Magdeburger Börde, Mansfelder Land).
• Meet and exceed growth and sales objectives for the relevant promoted products and portfolio.
• Identify and strategically engage with pertinent customer groups and specialist physicians (currently neurologists, gastroenterologists, pain specialists), along with specialized centers (MS outpatient clinics) and select cystic fibrosis outpatient clinics.
• Establish and nurture relationships with regional and national key opinion leaders, adhering strictly to legal requirements and internal policies.
• Analyze and proactively influence regional networks that affect the prescribing habits of the target group.
• Provide evidence-based, indication-specific guidance on products, services, and treatment alternatives within the defined territory; communicate effectively with target groups in compliance with the German Medicines Act (AMG) and internal regulations.
• Execute territory-specific marketing and sales strategies (including promotional materials, relevant study data, competitor analysis).
• Actively facilitate therapy transitions and new patient initiations while ensuring consistent patient care.
• Establish yourself as a knowledgeable, scientifically informed contact for specialists to enhance the brand's reputation.
• Plan, organize, and/or support regional and national scientific events (on-site, hybrid, or digital) in accordance with compliance and internal guidelines.
• Ensure thorough and timely documentation of all activities, sample distribution, and customer data within the CRM system (currently Veeva/Salesforce.com).
• Mandatory reporting of adverse reactions/events within 24 hours, in line with applicable legal and internal regulations.
• Perform administrative tasks (e.g., invoicing, expense management).
• Potential coverage for vacancies.
• Several years of experience in field sales for prescription medicines (Rx); ideally, experience in specialist physician field sales.
• Certification as a pharmaceutical sales representative as per § 75 of the German Medicines Act (AMG).
• A degree in a natural science or a medical/pharmaceutical background is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology related to the relevant therapeutic areas (currently neurology, gastroenterology).
• Experience in specialty or specialist physician field sales, particularly with complex therapeutic areas, is desirable.
• Strong customer focus, professional stakeholder management skills, and the ability to foster long-term relationships.
• Proven commercial sales abilities, strength in scientific argumentation, and a strong emphasis on closing deals.
• Analytical and entrepreneurial mindset, including the ability to interpret regional market and care data confidently.
• Team player with excellent self-organization, digital proficiency, structured working style, and outstanding communication skills.
• Class B driving license.
• Residency in or near the assigned territory.
• Good English skills are desirable for utilizing international study and product information and facilitating internal corporate communications.
