• Independent planning, preparation, and execution of indication-specific professional discussions/visits with practicing specialists to provide information regarding the products to be managed.
• Achievement of growth and revenue targets for the respective relevant discussion products/portfolio.
• Identification and strategic management of relevant customer groups and specialists (currently neurologists, gastroenterologists, pain specialists) as well as specialized centers (MS clinics) and selected mucus clinics.
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with regional and national opinion leaders while strictly adhering to legal regulations and internal Viatris codes and rules.
• Analysis and active shaping of regional networks that influence the prescribing behavior of the relevant target group.
• Evidence-based, indication-specific consultation regarding products, services, and therapy options in the defined area; target group-appropriate communication in accordance with AMG and internal compliance guidelines.
• Regional implementation of the current marketing and sales strategy (including discussion materials, relevant study content, competitive environment), including individual action planning based on CRM and market data, as well as a comprehensive analysis of regional influencing factors (e.g., relevant KV regulations affecting the selection of therapies).
• Active support during therapy transitions and new patient initiations, ensuring stable patient care through competent consultation of relevant customer groups and specialists.
• Positioning as a competent, scientifically grounded contact in the specialist segment to strengthen the Viatris brand.
• Planning, execution, and/or support of regional and national scientific events (on-site/hybrid/digital) in accordance with compliance and internal guidelines.
• Comprehensive, timely documentation of all activities, sample distributions, and customer data, etc., in the CRM system (currently Veeva/Salesforce.com).
• Mandatory reporting of adverse events (AEs) within 24 hours in accordance with applicable legal and internal regulations.
• Administrative tasks (e.g., billing, expenses).
• Potential management of vacancies.
• Several years of experience in field sales for prescription medications (Rx); ideally in the specialist field sales.
• Qualification as a pharmaceutical representative according to § 75 of the Medicines Act (AMG).
• A scientific degree or a medical-pharmaceutical background is advantageous.
• In-depth knowledge of pharmacology in the relevant therapeutic areas (currently neurology, gastroenterology).
• Experience in specialist or expert field sales as well as dealing with complex therapy areas is desirable.
• High customer orientation, professional stakeholder management, and the ability to establish long-term relationships.
• Strong sales competence, scientific argumentation skills, and a high focus on closure.
• Analytical, entrepreneurial thinking, including secure interpretation of regional market and healthcare data.
• Team player with high self-organization, digital competencies, and a structured working method, as well as excellent communication skills.
• Class B driving license.
• Residence in the area to be managed or nearby.
• Good English skills are desirable for utilizing international study and product information and facilitating internal company communication.
