This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee current refuse sector accounts while driving sales of Clean Energy products and services, which encompass compressed natural gas (CNG), liquefied natural gas (LNG), renewable natural gas (RNG), fueling stations, and maintenance services within designated market segments.
• Manage existing refuse contracts and actively pursue, sell, and secure new and renewal contract opportunities.
• Build, manage, and enhance relationships with a variety of prospects, clients, and partners in the natural gas transportation fuel sector.
• Cultivate and establish connections with local decision-makers such as city council members, fleet managers, and public works directors.
• Inform local communities, city councils, and trade associations about the economic and health advantages of natural gas vehicles.
• Promote services to new and existing customers through the creation, development, and execution of diverse business solutions.
• Coordinate the planning of marketing promotions, which include advertising and special sales initiatives.
• Travel within the assigned territory to engage with current and potential customers, soliciting orders and communicating via phone and email.
• Anticipate and estimate demand for proposed projects based on market analysis and consumer trends.
• Create and deliver proposals and presentations on company services to various group sizes, including small, medium, and large audiences.
• Draft, develop, negotiate, review, and comprehend station contracts and fueling agreements.
• Provide insights to the management team regarding new product or service features that should be developed to satisfy current and future customer requirements.
• Collaborate closely with the Engineering department on the development of assigned projects.
• Work in tandem with the Operations department on station operations and performance metrics.
• Maintain up-to-date records of account activities, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) records, and relevant literature.
• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 5 years of experience in sales and/or account management.
• Experience in technical sales or government contracting is advantageous, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
• Familiarity with reading and interpreting financial statements is desirable.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
• Competence in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Capability to effectively present information and address questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Proficiency in working with mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical inference, and basic principles of plane and solid geometry as well as trigonometry.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions in practical scenarios.
• Skills in solving practical problems and managing a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization is available.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel), Internet, Social Media, and CRM systems (specifically Microsoft Dynamics).
