This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Acquisition and development of clients in the public sector at federal, state, and municipal levels.
• Build and sustain long-term relationships with public planners, consultants, and decision-makers.
• Identify and assess public tenders in alignment with procurement regulations and internal policies.
• Create competitive proposals and tender documentation in close cooperation with internal teams and external partners.
• Provide guidance to clients on IT infrastructure, emphasizing enterprise networking solutions (e.g., LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, network security, cloud connectivity).
• Keep track of market trends, regulatory changes, and funding opportunities in the public sector.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and public-sector forums.
• Collaborate closely with partners, distributors, and complementary vendors.
• Several years of experience in sales, account management, or business development within the public sector.
• Strong network connections in the public sector, including planners, consultants, and procurement authorities.
• Comprehensive understanding of public procurement procedures and legal frameworks (both national and EU-wide).
• Technical knowledge of enterprise IT solutions, particularly network infrastructure and IT security.
• University degree in a relevant field; a master’s degree is advantageous.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel and capability to manage complex sales cycles.
• Proficient in both written and spoken German and English.
