This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kenya.
• Drive the sales and business development strategy for Open RAN solutions throughout Africa.
• Create, oversee, and convert a robust telecom sales pipeline to meet revenue objectives.
• Manage the entire sales cycle: from opportunity qualification to technical coordination, proposal formulation, negotiation, and contract finalization.
• Increase market share and enhance the regional footprint within Africa’s telecom landscape.
• Cultivate and sustain strategic partnerships with Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), telecom providers, and technology collaborators.
• Work in close cooperation with the MEA sales team to ensure alignment and a unified growth strategy.
• Assist in customer field engagements and manage both new client acquisitions and account growth.
• Collaborate with technical and customer support teams to guarantee high service standards and customer satisfaction.
• Offer strategic insights regarding market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer needs within the African telecom sector.
• Over 8 years of experience in telecommunications sales, ideally focusing on mobile networks or network infrastructure.
• More than 3 years of direct sales experience in the Africa / MEA region with established industry connections.
• Documented success in closing enterprise deals with MNOs and telecom operators.
• In-depth knowledge of 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G mobile network technologies.
• Proven track record of meeting or surpassing sales quotas and revenue goals.
• Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc) or an equivalent qualification.
• Strong professional endorsements and customer referrals.
