This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.
• Customer Business Development (70%) - Achieve sales goals while prioritizing customer retention and enhancing overall customer satisfaction, including through digital channels.
• Recognize customer potential, identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling to current clients and engaging relevant stakeholders.
• Develop strategies and targets for customer growth in the assigned territory (sales plan); collaborate with the Sales Manager.
• Regularly conduct customer visits and prepare for meetings utilizing all available tools and reports.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to promptly create the best solutions for customers and maximize value extraction.
• Perform market research on potential new product opportunities by reaching out to customers to gauge interest and test market demand.
• New Customer Generation (10%) - Identify opportunities for initiating sales projects in collaboration with other departments such as Product Management.
• Establish and optimize pricing strategies by considering value-based pricing and customer segmentation within the guidelines set by Product Management.
• Drive commercial and functional excellence based on insights from the Commercial Excellence Function. Manage urgent business/rush offers.
• Ideally possess Post-Secondary Education with a focus on Business, Science, or a related field.
• Have experience in the chemical distribution industry, preferably in a sales role (3 to 5 years of prior sales experience).
