This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients through ongoing communication to ensure both daily and long-term requirements are fulfilled.
• Oversee customer expectations while delivering outstanding customer service.
• Collaborate with the Implementation team on successful opportunities to guarantee precision in our pricing program.
• Engage in rate matrix evaluations to maintain profitability and competitiveness for key clients.
• Take part in rate computations, report generation, and customer presentations for all high-spend bids.
• Ensure commitments to customers are fulfilled by working with internal teams and executing necessary operational tasks.
• Identify, manage, and cultivate new business relationships within the target market.
• Work alongside the Customer Service Manager to provide optimal transportation service solutions.
• Keep an updated database of clients, prospects, partners, and vendors.
• Track market trends, product innovations, and competitor offerings, pricing, and sales activities.
• Carry out administrative tasks, including preparing sales budgets and reports, maintaining sales records, and filing expense reports.
• Consult with clients to troubleshoot issues and offer ongoing support.
• Organize meetings with prospects, sales, and current customers in close collaboration with the VP of Sales/CS.
• A proven history with a strong emphasis on account management, setting appointments, presenting, and engaging with customers, pricing, proposals, and successfully closing deals.
• Over 2 years of sales and account management experience in the transportation and logistics sector is preferred.
• A recent degree from a college or university in Marketing or a related business field is required.
• Previous experience in an analyst role and/or in a pricing capacity is advantageous.
• Capability to comprehend business processing needs using technology and devise creative solutions for implementation.
• Experience in B2B sales involving complex transactions is a plus.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the sales planning process.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, along with strong interpersonal and customer relationship abilities.
• Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to close deals.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaborate effectively in a team setting.
